Set in the small village of Flitcham in Norfolk and very close to the Royal Sandringham Estate, the generously proportioned two-storey house dates back to 1837. Russen & Turner Architectural Design were appointed to help transform the property from its dated appearance internally to a modern, well equipped home with a ‘nod’ to tradition.

As Contract Administrators and working with our client, Russen & Turner Architectural Design prepared Existing and Proposed Plans and all tendering information relating to the extensive alteration works needed. Such works included the upgrading of the plumbing system, electrical improvements and alterations to the internal configuration of the property. The majority of existing fixtures and fittings were replaced with traditional features such as the fireplaces retained and restored.

The property is currently used by a national Trust organisation as a short break holiday home for its Trust members.
